SUD PROGRAM

Dunn County Sheriff's Office Substance Use Disorder Program is a group of professionals including Social Workers and Behavioral Health Officers that conduct in-the-field interventions with people who are suffering from a substance use disorder and mental health.
The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office partners with the Menomonie Police Department on a program called Project Hope.
The Sheriff's Office SUD Program is a voluntary program using a pro-active approach to aid in assisting community members who suffer with substance abuse (drug or alcohol related). We help get SUD community members connected with various community resources and treatment options prior to law enforcement involvement, after law enforcement involvement and assist in helping them get back integrated into the community upon release from the Jail. Recovery is a process, so we try to encourage, connect and support community members to ultimately allow them to better their life, and lower recidivism.
SUD Division/Program staff will wear plain clothes when meeting with people our cars are un-marked squads to be discreet. We can meet anywhere in the county to meet your current needs.
