The Dunn County Sheriff’s Office is requesting your assistance in recovering items which were taken in a burglary to a residence.

On October 11th, 2017 a structure fire occurred, in the Township of Rock Creek, in which it displaced the family from the residence.

In the early morning hours of November 2nd, 2017 a family member arrived at the residence to discover two unknown male subjects with a vehicle behind the residence. When asked what they were doing they stated they were “looting the house.” They then left the residence with a garbage can full of items.

As a result of follow up investigation one male subject was taken into custody. This investigation continues.

One item taken from the residence, and believed to have been sold by the suspect(s), is a signed red #45 Michael Jordan Jersey. This item is particularly valuable to the family as it was signed for their six-year-old daughter who was suffering from a life threatening disease through the “Make a Wish Foundation.”

Anyone recently purchasing this item or having information on it is asked to contact the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office or anonymously at dunncocrimestoppers.com.
