Before the officer could re-approach or apprehend the suspect, the vehicle took off and led officers on a pursuit. The Boyceville Police lost sight of the vehicle as it fled from the Village into Northern Dunn County.

At around 11:21 AM, Dunn County Sheriff's Deputies were searching the area for the suspect when a deputy located the vehicle and it began to flee again.
