On March 27, 2024 at approximately 11:00 AM, an Officer with the Village of Boyceville Police conducted a traffic stop and found the vehicle to be stolen out of Burnsville, Minnesota. Before the officer could re-approach or apprehend the suspect, the vehicle took off and led officers on a pursuit. The Boyceville Police lost sight of the vehicle as it fled from the Village into Northern Dunn County.

At around 11:21 AM, Dunn County Sheriff's Deputies were searching the area for the suspect when a deputy located the vehicle and it began to flee again. The vehicle drove onto side streets and entered a dead-end street where it left the roadway and entered a wooded area which disabled the vehicle. The suspect fled on foot.

With assistance from the St. Croix County Sheriff's Office, deputies were able to track the suspect into a wooded area using a police K-9. The suspect was located and surrendered to law enforcement. Dunn County Deputies took custody of the suspect and transported him to the Dunn County Jail.
