Report an Online Scam, Fraud, Identity Theft

Examples:  

  • Scammer obtains money from victim sent online through fake sale or advertisement.

  • Scammer obtains money from victim through fake contest, sweepstakes, etc.

  • Scammer opens credit card, bank account, etc. online using victim's identity.

  • Scammer obtains money from victim online through blackmail.

ONLINE REPORTING SYSTEM

               If this is a crime that is in-progress or there is any threat of life or safety to another person,

               do not use the online reporting system.  If there is a need for immediate response or investigation, do not use the online reporting system.  Contact the dispatch center at 715-232-1348.
