Paul
graduated from Glenwood City
High School in 1981 and
joined the U.S. Army. He later graduated from the
Military Police Training Academy and spent three
years as a military police officer. In May of 1984 he began working part time
for the Boyceville and Knapp Police Departments. In
August of1984 he was hired at the Dunn County
Sheriff’s Office as a Jailer / Dispatcher. In 1986
he began filling in on the road as a deputy sheriff
and in 1987 became a permanent road deputy. In 1999
Paul was assigned to the investigations division. In 2002 he
was promoted to Patrol Sergeant until 2005 when he
was promoted to Patrol Lieutenant. In 2006 Paul was
promoted to Chief Deputy and continues to serve in
that capacity as the departments number two law
enforcement officer.
Since Paul
has experience working in all areas of the sheriff’s
office, he is able to understand and monitor each
part of our operation. He is able to work
cooperatively with all command staff officers,
supervisors and line staff in an effort to meet
our goals and objectives.
